Hi friend! 👋
The past couple of weeks have been a strange time for all of us. For many, it has also been an emotionally and mentally difficult time. We hope you have been keeping well and taking care of yourself the best you can. 💙💛
Between trying to cope and maintaining some level of business as usual (as can be), we’ve been relying on our anchors to help us find our ground in the current situation — both personally and professionally.

So we thought: let’s talk about anchors ⚓
At its most basic level, anchors are used to keep the wind and currents from moving a ship off course. For some, it could be:
For us, it’s data intelligence.
If you feel like the phrase ‘data-driven’ is being thrown around like confetti, that’s because it is. However, it’s also because many organizations haven’t actually caught up to speed on being fully data-driven.
It’s 2022, and many recruitment candidates are still facing the age-old question ‘how do you align sales and marketing’ or ‘how do you align marketing and product’ in interview sessions. Speaking of recruitment, we do have a few positions open. But more on that later on.
It’s no longer enough to know about the metrics of a single function only. You need market intelligence, as an anchor, to keep up with the speed of the SaaS industry and the constant environmental changes. Otherwise, you’ll end up steering the ship off course.
So how exactly can you go about it?
It’s pretty simple, align your company’s success metrics across all functions and make sure you have the right tech stack in place. For example:
Of course, this would never be such an age-old question if it were that easy to do. So here’s a question for you (reply to this email to let us know! 💌):
How would you start aligning your company’s success metrics around all functions, and where would you start?

Customer spotlight: TalentAdore ❤️
TalentAdore is a Finnish HR tech company on a mission to bring the human touch to recruitment.
We started working with TalentAdore in September 2021. Our partnership started with a strategy phase which included a kick-off meeting, a data deep-dive, an ideal customer profile workshop, customer research interviews, compiling the interview data into an understandable format, and different audits.
What have we been up to? 🤩
We have been hard at work with some advertising experiments. 🎉
We’re creating content around interesting topics in the HR space in both Finnish and English. TalentAdore also just published a really cool new website, so go check that out while you’re at it!
Our customer Miira Leinonen actually wrote a guest post on our blog post about how the strategy work went from her perspective. Check it out!
All in all, the collaboration has been great and we’re looking forward to achieving more growth together in our upcoming sprints!

Clear vision, easier decisions
Yeah, we know, decisions can feel hard right now because the vision feels murky sometimes. But there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. Trust that your data can help you make the best decisions when you’re navigating through the pieces.
Finally, remember to take care of yourself the best you can, too! ❤️
